Deja Vu

Deja Vu - Nacra Inter 18
Deja Vu is a Nacra Inter 18 from the 1990s some time. She might be sail number 720 but I’m not sure as the main is almost certainly not the original one. We bought her in summer 2009 to replace our Cherub, indulge in some lazy sailing on those light wind days and still have some brown-trousers sailing when the breeze gets going.
Deja Vu is a wonderfully awful name especially for a catamaran. I don’t care much for puns or clever boat names, but I love her all the same.
The Inter 18 was Nacra’s first attempt at a cat for the F18 class.
I rather reluctantly sold Deja Vu in July 2010 to the secretary of the Hayling Ferry Sailing Club to replace his Nacra 6.0.
I’ve seen that you mention brown-trouser moments several times on your blog… is this something you look forward to??!! :)
nice blog, btw.

Sometimes, it’s nice to be going so fast it scares you. But only sometimes.. :-D
